Looked, could not see a thread about it.

Just seen the news here about UK petrol stations and a new feature. With increasing fuel prices and the issue being quite high in the UK anyway more and more cases of petrol theft (fill her up and drive off) is occurring and more. Just seen how more and more petrol stations are fitting spikes at the entrance/exit and a push button to activate them so if someone is driving off their tires will be spiked and of course they cant drive off.
I can see the legal actions now but still, great idea - fit them everywhere just like the idiots who try to drive in the buss lanes or roads with the auto bollards that pop up, they deserve it.

OH and - Fuel hikes = crap and daft and every other wtf in the urban dictionary.

Now all we need is some sort of undercar flamethrower or similar for when someone tries to open your petrol cap to siphon the fuel out at night...

Yup. That or a trunk monkey with a crowbar...

Wonder how long they last before it gets used for a joke by some employee or it trigger accidently and causes a massive crash.

The lawsuits will roll in then.

Tis a bad sign when fuel is becoming so valuable that it requires emergency fortifications to protect it.

Anyone think that "MadMax" will soon become a reality?
