Anyone been on one? Contemplating a cunard cruise this autumn

I never realised sailing to the states was so quick

6 days apparently - i thought it was weeks

I like the idea of sailing to the states

That is quick, I too would have guessed at 2 weeks or something !

You could sail into NY or Florida.

One of the wonderful things is that they show pristine beaches and those beaches stay that way, the tourists dont have time to look around and go on one.

Well worth trying to see if you like it though.

im thinking of going to work on one if that counts...

I like the Queen Mary II cruise thats taking bookings for next year.
95 day world cruise. Especially like the price of the Duplex Room - £500k

A customer of ours can get very preferential rates with cunard - so Im staring a £7,000 room with balcony in the face for less than 1/4 of that on a queen mary 22 day cruise

If you look at the starting rate for the 112 day cruises - theyre starting off at about 11k - £11,000 is cheap - all things considered - for an almost 4 month all inclusive holiday.

I know a couple of girls who are currently dancing on cruise ships - one of them has just signed for a new contract and said I could fly out and stay for a week fairly cheaply - might have to take the offer up.
