What did you do?
on: April 16, 2006, 20:31:37 PM
On your easter sunday?

I spent most of it sorting my car:

Cambelt change with rollers and tensioner
Waterpump and coolent change
Swapped the headlights
Painted the calipers (then it peed down so its prolly wrecked the paint)
Fiddled with the alarm and diagnoses a duff siren.

So im covered in oil/grease/paint/rain and general dirt... hardly ideal for an easter sunday.

Spose most of the population did next to nowt did they?

EDIT: oh and my back is killing me, being this tall and leaning into an engine bay for hours just isnt good, glad its not mid engined tho

Working on a final draft, which is 30k words and involves 31 seperate word documents  :gag:

Its so nearly finished though, only six issues left to fix and Im looking at the cigar that I bought a month ago, which Ill be smoking at the moment of completion :)
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Ya normally smoke 10-15 a day. And I deserve a cigar after finishing this bloody thing.

Would it easier on your back if you get the front end up on axle stands? - I find it helps a lot if Im gonna be hunched over the engine for hours.
