Tell me song from video description
on: October 21, 2007, 09:01:26 AM
Here is a question for music heads. I was at a 80s 90s night last night and one of the videos they played I am trying to find out what song it was. Its medieval based and it starts with this knight on his horse riding in the snow. There are cut scenes of two knights or lords or something playing chess, and there is a woman in it who looks suspiciously like Enya but the song wasnt like Enyas normal stuff so I dont think its her. It was quite slow, definitely 80s and had a guy singing. Any ideas ?

only medieval one that springs to mind is Adam and the Ants - prince charming - though it doesnt fit your description

do you remember any of the lyrics at all/rough idea of what the song was about

Come on guys Im not clueless about music. If it was men in hats or adam ant then I would know it. Although I did think it was adam ant when it first came on. Im thinking it might be by Clannad who Enya was in before she went solo?

No I know all kate bushs songs. And if you dont know theres no point just picking random artists, as what am I supposed to do with that nugget of information. Download all their songs with videos to see if it matches.

The lyrics were very mellow and I couldnt make them out. It had a lot of strings and wasnt really a poppy song. It could well be an adam ant song I dont know but its definitely not stand and deliver or prince charming.
