Senior Infrastructure Engineer!
Makes me the lead engineer reporting to the IT Services manager. I've already had the pay rise a few months back (good one too - wasn't complaining...). They've also signed off a CCNA course for later in the year, as well as a 3 year Open Uni course for a professional certificate in management!
Bit lost for words at the moment. So many promises for so many years then bang out of the blue! Thank god I didn't jump ship! Being fair to myself I've worked damn hard for it (currently spending Friday night watching the aircon temp monitor - we dont even work shifts!) and I've had to really push hard for some career structure, but really didn't expect all that to come at once!
Guess now the REALLY hard work begins! Very excited though!
