Wouldnt be hard to close the loophole by enforcing only licenced drivers are allowed to use the lanes and with number plate tracking it wouldnt be hard to work out which cars are owned by licensed taxi drivers and those being driven by people like Edmunds.

I suppose if you also got a license then again you could ger around it, but it also adds extra cost. Could also make it so only able to use the lanes when available or carrying passengers. Anyone found using the lane with the light off and no passengers gets fined.

Edmunds has been getting snarky with any authority, some of his show recently have basically been making out he is above that kind of thing.

Bit of a pillock really.

youre not supposed to use them if youre not a real taxi already..... bit if youve got big bucks to spend on solicitors you can have them argue the letter of the law and youll get off with it.... so its not with the hassle....

if loads of people start doing it theyll clamp down on it

luck for me most of the bus lanes up here are no car lanes instead.... so i take the van ;)

I seem to recall seeing snippets of this, it looked like "Daily Mail - The TV Show" to be completely honest.
