Play delivery times

After hunting around locally for GTA4 yesterday I ended up ordering it through Play at 6.30pm last night.

Got an email saying itd been despatched at 9.15am this morning, what are the chances itll arrive tomorrow?

I would say chances are good. Play are good on the delivery :D

I would say chances are bad. I always expect stuff from Play around 4-5 days after shipping. Sometimes it arrives earlier, but I dont think Ive ever got it next day. Remember they ship from Jersey.

Dont forget they use standard RM that deliver on Saturdays too, chances could be better than expected :)

must admit they always take 4-5 days here. Hope you get it though - its damn good. Although I keep getting a bollocking from the missus for beating people to death, then continuing to give their corpse a shoeing for another 5 minutes.......  :evil:

Just wondering, have they maybe brought back those conga lines from GTA 1? The ones where if you ran em all over in one go youd get an announcment or something. That would be so much fun...

I had intended on getting AoC and JUST playing that... but Im starting to wonder if after uni I will have to juggle the games... :(

I ordered some stuff early yesterday monring from play. Hoping they get here as one of them was a pair of Sennheiser earphones, my rents are driving me insane with making loads of noise whilst trying to revise so could do with some noise isolating phones ASAP!

Where I was in Leicester you guys gave play thumbs up often so I shopped there 3 times, each time the items never arrived. I never blamed Play but It someone in the loop was pinching from play or knowing how they ship or something  but going on past comments about orders you may get it Saturday but best guess would be monday, if your ordered it a few hours earlier you would had a better chance but you never know post is still an odd thing.

Ive had no trouble with Play at all. I cant remember how quick their dispatch times were, but every time Ive had a problem or needed to return something their customer service has been excellent, and goods always arrive well packaged.

The Hari Krishnas in the first GTA wouldnt really fit into the new game, but it was fun getting the Gouranga!

Never had a problem with play and Ive been using them since they were play247.com in the early days, when importing NTSC DVDs from USA was cheaper than buying them here as long as you bought more than 3 at a time. Not a single problem ever - highly recommended as long as your not in a rush for the goods.
