Meh, I dont get the deal with these forums and people posting something already posted. Elsewhere on the net people either repeat what they say or the discussion branches down a different route, or a thread is ignored. Here it always seems to be frowned upon or something. My mindset is duplication is always good. It doesnt take much resources up and doubles the chances of something being searched for and found :D

I wouldnt say its frowned upon, Im personally not bothered. It would be nice if I had the merger function still then it wouldnt be a problem at all.

Meh, with threads like these its the links that are important, not really the content. Ones where there arent any links and its all discussion hardly ever get duplicated.

And the links different this time with more vids on it so thats a win :D

to be fair, you find something cool, you want to share it with others who will also find it cool. You have a quick glance but you dont necessarily go hunting through the whole forum to check it isnt already here.

Id much rather it was posted twice than not at all.

People seem to think it makes them better than others to know that its already been posted, when in fact its probably just an indication that they spend too much time on the internet. Anyone posting a repost post when its not necessary instantly goes down in my opinion. Virtually all of the times when people do it I hadnt seen the link/article/whatever originally.
