7 day return rule

How does it work, has anyone used it, is it seven days from reciept or purchase, or can you keep it for 7 days.

Personally, if I want to return something, I just do.  I dont both quoting rules or laws I just ask nicely if they wouldnt mind giving me a refund and I every time I have done that customer service has always sorted the problem out quickly and free of any extra costs.

It the other way, Ive not received it yet, its been 14 days, so if I return it, Ill be getting them back for pissing me around.

Will it actually piss them off though, unlikely Id say.

If they have sent it then it may be the delivery service thats at fault. Tell them, cancel the order and ask for a refund.
some companies still use the 28 day deadline for delivery the law permits, which means it can be slow.

No the company hasnt posted it yet, I can see another Paypal order going their way.
