Sounds Cool, if you read the mozilla site it does look like finally the bookmarks element will get sorted and more manageable.

That and 4 sounds like they will have some good features.

Perhaps most exciting could be Firefoxs ability to support writing an e-mail in, for example, Gmail while offline, with the data sent later when a user is connected to the Internet again. Ultimately, Mozilla engineers are aiming for an integration between the browser and Web-based services that is as smooth-running as a desktop application, Schroepfer said.

Sounds good :)

considering how long its taken them to realise that tabbed browsing is a good idea, Id say theyll do nothing at all for about 4 years and then shamelessly copy.

I think the FF team should concentrate on making a browser that doesnt crash every 2 minutes first.

i see this from a few folks, yet ive had IE7 crash out on me far more often, both at home and work.  At work we support a lot of customers wh use citrix portals, and ive found FF actually handles them far better than IE7.  One of my desk PCs has FF, the other only has IE7, and the FF box goes all day without having to be bounced, the other box needs rebooting at least once a day when it croaks.  Please note, both are identical right down to the image they used on them.

Which was put to addons
I am still on a year and not had the crashes you seem to have

Which in fact is something they have noted and they say they are going to have core library access for addons to help with load from addons.

Most weeks I dont see a crash at all. Sometimes it ends up not loading a ur for no apparent reason,l but thats it.

TBH I have dumped IE unless its specifically required for a site.

Neither of us use any addons at all. We like a functional, efficient browser. Not one that tells you your heart rate, local weather, where to buy cats and dogs in your area and automatically adds smilies to your posts.

It crashes because its still buggy and they spend too much time on graphical tweaks. This latest release is much better, theres still a long way to go.

Comparing FF to IE though and saying IE crashes more is like comparing hamburger to fillet steak.

OK its got a few chips with it and a coke...

Thing is its whatever works for you ;)

Question is whether you want to fly, wild and free, with Firefox, or, accept corporate imprisonment with all the limitations...

Find FF very stable, IE crashes all the time.
