Bit off topic, but Ive just got mine back from changing my address etc on it......and it now looks like I only passed my test this month, this year! As its a valid from date, not a pass date which I didnt realise

Mine says its valid until 2053, and I was born 1093, so 70 as Cypher says.

In Northern Ireland at least you also need to renew it every ten years.
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo… Again.

You have to renew it every 10 years here too. The 70 age is just when you have to resit your test.

Urgh, I forgot about the 10 year renewal.  If that is case.

Yes thats simply an administrative form to update your photo/details.

Mine expires in 2055.

No you just have to send a form off to renew your license at 70.

Providing youve had a license since 1976, not been disqualified and no medical conditions stop your from driving.  It will be renewed.

if you have to renew every 10years, then mine is out of date & has been for a long time.

its only the photocard ones you have to renew, makes sense as rare is the 70 year old who still looks 17.
