Did we not all have that at one point? LOL. What was the revision that was even better? NF7-n or something?
Was a good board but Asus are turning out an insane amount of varied board times some good, some bad but you got so much choice they are snuffing out the others.

The AF7-S 2.0 with the DLT3C JIUHB XP1700+ was the combo that everyone was running. It over-clocked ridiculously high and was very stable on aircooling.

As soon as it left warranty mine starting dying a slow and painful death with bits and pieces failing one after the other. I ended up replacing it with an old Asus that I picked up from fleabay.

Doh my current system is built around an abit board, they were the only manufacturer that produced a board I liked, had decent specs and a decent layout.  Hope it doesnt blow up any time soon.

They were good, but RIP Abit

I had an NF7-S too, with a 2500+ barton core. Its now residing with my great nephew.

Replaced by a Pantsium on Asus, The only board Ive had that needed a bios update to work properly.
