I was going to make some remark about it looking like Sams used to but that would be grossly unfair.

Sam never smoked.

That new years I was there, I have no idea how you could have stood in that downstairs loo or eat in that kitchen!

Ive had to survey houses which had been used by squatters in London and elsewhere. Without exception, every one of them was far cleaner than that (including a couple we refused to go into on H&S grounds).

Ive seen council houses like it but usually stuff like that means either drug users or mental problems.

agreed, Ive seen similar kinds of stuff in abandoned places used by druggies, just never quite to that extent. They usually leave themselves some floor. Or perhaps they got turfed out of the ones Ive seen before it got this far?
