Current football boots

Seems that current footballs are not up to scratch, so many footballs breaking bones in their feet.
Rooney had new Nike boots for the first time in a real football match when he broke that oh so well known bone in his foot.

They need to look at rugby boots, miles better and still very good for kicking and running, and we have more people stamping on them then footballers do or as much, you dont get many rugby players breaking that bone

Alot of rugby players (both league and the ra-ras) wear Adidas Predators or Puma, identical to association football. I think the amount of bones being broken in football is a reflection on the style of play, rather than the boots...

pitches maybe?
Or all 3?

It needs looking into though, you cant deny the amount of people going down with foot problems in UK football at the moment.

Injuries happen for different reasons.  You can twist something the wrong way, you can get what is refered to as an impact injury etc.  I doubt very much boots are to blame.

Im not aware of that many "foot problems" except for Owen and the one covering every single back page.

im mildly amused at the fact he broke his metatarsil bone.  Ive done it multiple times over the years while dingy sailing and while climbing.  Its painful yeah, but if you rest it up for a couple of weeks itll be fine.  Those bones heal fast, very fast in fact if you dont jar them constantly.
