Back from hols!

Hi all,

Back from a week in Harlech with the missus (freebie staying at my folks static near the beach). Weather was amazing - it was hot and sunny all week, and we relaxed loads which was well needed.

Since 5 channels of telly sucks I took loads of videos and movies on a lappy and also some adventure games that we enjoy playing together. Took my TFT with me so we had a decent screen - the setup was pretty cool for a caravan lol!!




Played with my s5600 a bit - trying to learn how to use a camera properly. Some shots are crap some are good - will post in photos section later.

Hope you guys have all been playing nicely :)

so instead of going castle seeing - Harlech, Conwy, Carnarfon, etc.

lol no that probably came across wrong. We did spend a lot of time just sitting and relaxing because its the first time off work either of us had had this year and we needed to chill out. However we did try and do stuff in the days it was the nights we played games and watched tv. Went round Harlech castle (for the billionth time), went to the beach most days and Barmouth quite a bit but North Wales is almost local for us and we know it like the back of our hand. The sights and castles you list Ive done over and over and over again and I love them dont get me wrong, but this holiday we needed to chill out more than anything else.


TBH if I had decided to stay in and play computer games Id feel no shame about it anyway - I never get 5 mins to play them the rest of the year.

I did a similar thing, watch movies on my lappy when Im bored in my rain soaked tent while on holiday and then during the days Id go out and spend them at waterfalls, swimming caves, exploring, etc etc

lol i was around there this weekend. thurs to mon at barmouth.

spent all day walking around and playing on the beach and all night at BBQs and getting pissed  :P

was a good weekend, except the traffic.

I like to spend my time off work working at cars

I take a week off here and there to do things
