used to have one fairly often, like once or twice a month, moreso with the two for one offers etc,
but after watching the 30 days film, i avoid fast food / McDs like the plauge.

microwave meals on expiry date (cheap!) from sainsburys are my usual dinner now days, lots of variety in the meals and i can always take a fruit bowl instead.

Once a month or probably even once a week a fast food snack does no harm at all. I can think of many places Ive eaten at that no doubt had filthier kitchens and dubious meat quality whether standards are less well enforced.

But yeah, its cool to slate them.

i only eat burger king anyway.

tbh... even if the card is genuine Id bet the spotty 14 year old burger flipper would still have to call the 17 year old manager over & even then theyd probably reject it.

Its not just McDs that are bad, but theyve become the symbolic whipping boy for a whole movement.

I dont begrudge somebody wanting to eat the occasional Mcfry or McTurd--I have my own junk food cravings; I just resent what McDs, BK, KFC, et. al, have done to the health of children and the death of food culture in certain parts of the world.

Having mostly grown up here, I remember visiting my friends houses, kids whose parents were rather poor southern folk--and they didnt have real food in the house--everything was processed or canned. Juice? Nope--but you could have orange or purple "drink". Just last night a checker at the supermarket, a young man of perhaps 17, asked me "what this is so I can ring it up". It was a cantaloupe. Hed never eaten one. Thats really sad.

So basically you have just reinforced my opinion that Mac Donalds staff are generally young casual workers. Which is what I was in fact emphasising in the first place.

No need to have a sense of humour failure, Mac Donalds is a sh*t hole! Just admit it and laugh at the place like the rest of us.

(Btw... just because someone is at uni doesnt mean they are pritty damned clever)

If people are doing Medical, based degrees I would say they are. Yeah I hate that place, but you will not believe how much sh*t we get off customers because of that attitude! You may think its easy work, its not at my store...
