Valid points, however, what imeant was people traveling in new cars (not 4x4, MPVs etc) who dawdle along in perfect conditions!

Either they just bought a new car and they are thinking about their investment or they just dont want to drive fast

New car or not, id expect all modern cars to be able to accelerate to the national speed limit comfortably, even when being molly coddled.

And I wouldnt class doing the speed limit driving fast

Of course there are always exceptions to the rule, but tbh from my experience 8/10 theres really no excuse to be driving dangerously (ie too slow)

Get really annoyed on the country back lanes around here, people doing 40mph me flying along in a 205 getting caught behind them the speed limit is 60 and the corners may look dodgy but are fine... Even seen 4x4s doing 40mph down the country lanes grrr :(

Exactly what I said, you have a different outlook on things to them, its not illegal for them to do 40 so chill out.

I think I might shove this into cars and bikes later, best place for it ;)

Its the new swastika, all the moderne Chardonnay niggarhaters have it on their Lexus SUVs and even some low brow kids are pasting them up on their Chevy Salvations:

Indeed, I know those Lincolnshire roads well, too, my trip to work every day took me up the A1 and via deepest farmer country, wherein all manner of hassle and incompetency would hinder you on the journey.

You should stop and offer the farmer a belt from your flask and discuss the merits of a modest furrow vs. the deeper cut by more traditional ploughs.
