im with lloyds & as long as I pay in £1000 a month I get free banking or otherwise I have to £7 a month for
the perks that come with the account.

like you, I have 2 accounts. 1 for bills & 1 for beer money. I get paid & then transfer £1k into my bills account
(my outgoings are usually £800 - mortgages, communication bills, sky, utilities, council tax, loans, subscriptions, etc.)


Its been like that for years, they have never said anything about not introducing `new money.
Why not set up 1000 accounts, auto direct debit everything from 1 account to another ;o)

Would be funny to set up 100 accounts online and get £500/month   Wonder if theyd cotton on it you did it all online?! (not sure you can set up accounts online with Halifax or not to be honest).
