Network Manager now standard with Feisty Fawn

Did an update yesterday and there it was on the panel needing no configuration and offering me a dozen networks with a simple drop down menu. :D Slick. Already had it installed on the Edgy lappie--but with Feisty, its automagick. :D

Automagick is all well and good, but only if you know how to do it manually.  Otherwise it is just brain rot.

Max:  how much of what you do in ubuntu can you still do without all the gui help a newbie config tools?

You wouldnt happen to be one of those Emacs zealots would you? :lol:

Next thing you know, theyll remove access to the command line entirely...How will I edit the vital .conf files for my nuclear powered toaster then? :P ;)
