Its impossible.

they clearly dont give a sh*t.

On Friday morning I was reconnected to BT,
they pinched my old VM number, my line is still dead, they are sending a engineer out to fix it at my expense
I said my panic button needs a working line to work, they didnt care.

I phoned VM up they gave me a new number for my panic button
now it works fine.

BT are coming at 9 am  Im dreading meeting him as ill have
to tell him he works for the worst company in GB.

Dont rant at the engineer, its not his fault.  He gets given a job list, and he has to stick to it.

My mate works for BT, and he said they have been told if they feel threatened or abused they are quite within their rights to turn round and leave.  Doesnt matter if it leave someone in the sh*t or not.  Hes done it a couple of times when people have screamed at him because hes turned up 4 or 5 days late, despite the fact hes only been given the job sheet that morning, or the day before.

Yeah if i was in the same situation i wouldnt blame the engineer - its the CS centres fault really and best thing to do is to try and speak to a CS manager at BT and see if you can come to some sort of agreement. Funny enough i wouldnt be suprised if the engineer said that BT or there CS was sh*t as before when we had a Sky engineer out he said that a lot of there CS is terrible & a lot of there equipment like there sky boxes are sh*t too he was quite a funny bloke actually lol
