What Films are you watching?
on: January 06, 2011, 13:53:46 PM
Cant remember seeing a thread for this so thought Id start one, basically what films have people been watching either at the Cinema, at home on TV or Bluray/DVD etc.

I just saw Tron Legacy yesterday on the IMAX screen in the Metrocentre, was rather good and hope they do some more.

Also watche Repo Men a few days ago, not bad but not great, didnt see the twist at the end coming.  Might buy it on DVD when its £3 or something.

So what have other people been watching?

I last watched at the cinema Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The series definitely gets better and more adult as you go on.

On Blu-Ray Ive watched Gladiator, the Lethal Weapons and still have the Alien anthology to go through.

Ive also recently watched Inception, which I thought was fantastic (and has more rewatchability than Shutter Island). I still want to see Zombieland!

It was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows dear. HBP was last year (:
And yes, he had to watch it because I made him (:

I liked Scott Pilgrim - one of my lecturers is obsessed with it so we ended up watching it in a 2 hour class instead of doing work, and I really liked Inception too though like Egg I think I preferred Shutter Island.

Lately I have been watching Dirty Harry, Once Upon a Time in Mexico and The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Looking forward to seeing Megashark vs Crocosaurus
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

I got inception for Christmas I liked it shame I missed it at the cinema, imagine some bits would be really cool to see on the big screen.

Havent seen Shutter island yet but I think Ive got it at home to watch so might have to over the weekend.  DiCaprio certainly seems to be cranking out some really good films in the last few years.

Really? I thought Zombieland was awesome! As a big fan of Romero its often quite irritating what they do with zombie films these days (was not a 28 day later fan at all..) but I thought this was a great funny take on the genre.
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

I thought it had potential at the start, but turned into some kind of teen road trip/romance film.
Nothing much really happened.
