PS3 controllers...
on: June 06, 2010, 12:39:10 PM
My bro just bought a PS3 so I had a go with the controller supplied. With my hands I lasted about 3 minutes before having to give up.

Anyone got any bright ideas on which controllers are most comfortable? Ive got Red Dead Redemption waiting to be played :(

None of the PS3 controllers are comfortable, if you have Western hands.

You can make it a little easier, if you get triggers and gel tabz.

Yep thats one thing the 360 got right was the hand placement on the Pad, it was almost perfect, Ive moved on to the PS3 now and find it kind of awkward for some games.

Might give the extended triggers a go, have you used them are they actually good?

(BTW I didnt move to the PS3 as I thought it was better, just because I had more friends on PS3, and wanted some multiplayer action, so appreciate them both, and dont want to turn this in to another PS vs XBox fanboy thread :P)

I dont have Western hands", Ive got broken Arthritic Western hands. The whole shape of the controller makes holding it difficult.

Something like a pair of gun handles, joined together, with the control sticks where the hammers would be would have been much better.

Ended up visiting a shop and got a Thrustmaster run n drive wireless 3 in 1. Not anywhere near perfect but a damn sight better than the one supplied.
