so im going to be spending a fair amount of time in hotels soon, gonna need something to amuse myself other than a can of guiness and channel 5 on a Friday night.

So Sony PSP or Nintendo DS ?

saw the guitar hero game for the DS which looked good, just some advice needed, thanks

Personally I prefer the DS all the way. Its just a great little machine with some superb games. Get yourself an r4ds (or latest equivalent) and a memory card and torrent yourself happy! :)

Id have used my PSP a lot more if it werent for one thing. And that thing is that god aweful ergonomics. The games I played that made full use of the psps power required the use of the analogue "thumbstick" which is nothing more than a small plastic pad on the left side. Couple that with the badly shaped and placed shoulder pads and after 20 mins playing your thumbs seize up and your wrists feel like youve had your hands hobbled!

DS - so many great games, both pick up and play and ones you can immerse yourself in for hours.

Youre also more likely to run into another person with a DS for local multplayer shennanigans.

ok so ds...

looks like a good deal, ds alone seems to be 99.99 then 30 quid for the game worth it? or just get the ds with on its own

GuitarHero DS has seriously tempted me in the same direction. Im currently trying to cut down on after work beers so i can get one!

Another vote for the DS here, picked up mine wiht a R4 card 3 weeks ago and already played it way more than I did my PSP :)

Due to an injunction:

Sign says basically "SOLD OUT" with an amusing reference to the samurai below. :lol: So the R4 might become harder to find for those of you in the UK too.
