fair price for used laptop

I would have put this in the price check forum, but there doesnt seem to be one anymore (perhaps Im looking right through it).

Ive got an old Laptop which Im sticking a lightly customised version of Ubuntu onto for my Grandparents. They only want a PC for looking at photos taken with their digital camera and writing the odd letter so Ubuntu + Open Office + Picasa should do them very nicely, and it having the same OS as my machines just makes it easier for me to troubleshoot should anything go wrong.

They will want to pay a fair price for it, and obviously I dont want to rip them off so what would you say is a fair price for the following:

Toshiba Equium A100
Intel Celeron M 1400 CPU
1GB RAM
40GB HDD
15.4" screen with integrated ATi Graphics
Multi-Format DVD Re-Writer

Software: Ubuntu 9.04 with Picasa and Open Office, backup scripts designed by me to make things as easy as possible for them while protecting against accidental deletion of precious piccys. Probably 3 or 4 hours work in total (Im sure a lot of you could do this in 2, but Im not all that good TBH).

The machine is about 3 or 4 years old, battery works after a fashion, good for about 1hr 15. Cosmetic condition is near perfect.

Indeed, recently gave a resonable gaming machine to my dad for £150, including a rebuild in a new case. Would have given it for a couple of quid but he said money is money. :)

But seriously - charging your grandparents? Youll end up in hell being poked up this arse with little fiery sticks!
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!
