Working in that industry Id like to point out that free TV streams on the web are still illegal. Not something that this board condones as far as I know.

Theres 3 free streams there... Streams aint Illegal unless its a stream of a subscribed channel & it comes under the FA Blanket Ban.
The English FA Blanket ban is from 2.45-4.45 on a Saturday :-D

So a FTA (Free to Air) Stream is Legal

From what I can see.. its Live on Eurosport International (not Eurosport GB) - so you can freely watch it.

Its illegal as the stream is from a subscribed channel in the uk (sky sport 1) and the digital rights are owned by Sky.

Digital streaming rights are the same as TV. if you dont own them for the country youre watching from you are breaking the law.

doubt if all 3 streams will be from sky sports... also its totally legal to watch foreign channels in your own home.. in fact a lot of pubs have ditched sky for foreign satellite for the football because its cheaper. Sky threatens with court action but always drops the case.

Infact, Ive never seen one of these net stream stream sky sports. They usually stream ART Sport.

If the rights to watch a particular event are sold to a broadcaster for that contry, they own the rights to show that event.

Its not the source of the event thats the issue its who owns the rights to show that event in that country. If you are watching an event that has digital rights ownership for that country and you broadcast the event so that it can be watched in that country you ARE breaking the law.

The FA, UEFA and Fifa regularly prosecute and shutdown sites just like the one youve linked to for this very reason.
