cool thanks fella, it was just the fact it didnt mention the 8xxx series. will it be a flying machine with 4GB and an x1950 in? (dont game but do like a snappy windows pc).

Yep will be fine, 4gb will give you plenty of scope to run tons of programmes get some visual/audio editing done.

Ive got a shuttle thats a couple of models before that, and its fantastic (especially since I put a quad core in it). Be aware that the USB headers on the mainboard are silly proprietary ones (theyre slightly smaller than normal). Fortunately, if you need to use them, eg for an internal card reader, just carefully pull of the white shoe around the pins, and splay them slightly to go into the connecter for whatever youre plugging in. Thankfully the pin order of the connector is standard.
