My daughters PC has Vista on it, now when I click on any IE7 link it does nothing.

Try going to start then run and enter a url in there? Does that do anything?

Otherwise you might want to check for a virus? sometimes they disable things like that.

If you need to install a browser/virus scan copy to a usb stick/cd?

Start/run/iexplore.exe then have a search for it.

saw a laptop recently that wouldnt run IE when the shortcut was clicked. it opened briefly then went. installed firefox for the lass and will look at it properly another time.

If you cant get on the net without any browser on the computer, either email her the firefox installer EXE or put it on a cd or flash drive for her?

Just open up run and type iexplore. Unless you have deleted it via Add/Remove.
