Made a right balls up.

I just got my new Core 2 Duo 6700, 2 GB OCZ PC2-7200 and 4 x WD 500 GB SATA2 disks. Thats all grand. I got 2 x Sapphire X1950XTX crossfire ready cards - I didnt realise you needed a GOD DAMNED cf edition card and a ready one! ARGH!!! And I turfed the boxes out.

WHAT an IDIOT !!

On the plus side - by f*ck the Core 2 Duo is a fast chip - I had my old D805 running at 3.8 GHz and it is a LOT faster !!

Shame youll have to upgrade the cards again real soon to get DX10 :D

Am gonna wait until the next batch of DX10 cards then go for it - the 8800 isnt significantly faster (Enough to warrant shelling out again) for me.
