New NIN Album - Ghosts I-IV

In a surprise release, NIN have released a 36 track instrumental called Ghosts at http://ghosts.nin.com

Available now as a free download for the first nine tracks, or $5 for the full album in a number of DRM free formats including FLAC and Apple Lossless.

THe physical version is on release in a month or two and ranges from $10 for a two CD version up to $300 for the Ultra-Mega-Deluxe-Hyper-Fighting edition which includes a DVD of multi-track recordings to play with in the likes of Logic and also a Blu-ray with high resolution stereo audio and ambient slideshow, It also comes with a 4 LP version of the album and an art book and prints. Limited to 2500 copies worldwide and comes numbered and signed by Trent Reznor.

Physical versions of the album include the right to download the album immediately in MP3, FLAC or Apple Lossless.

You can also listen to the entire thing online.

I cant believe I just spent nearly £200 on an album.

Youre getting a fair bit for your money though. I paid £120 for the Stadium Arcadium 180g vinyl set and thats literally all you get (in a nice box of course).

Are these new tracks or existing tracks done as instrumentals?

Very surreal.  Each mp3 has a different picture associated with it.
Winamp changes the picture, seems to match the song.
