went to see it last night. for all the cool-looking trailers, its not as great as its made out to be. dont get me wrong, its good and watchable, but there just wasnt enough gore for me. the first half an hour is basically gratuitous porn, which after a while gets quite monotonous and i found myself wandering when the killings were going to start. ok, so there were a couple of bits that got me squirming a bit but it could have been a lot better than it was. so, has anyone else seen it and what did they think of it?

He lives in America, being tortured to death by a sadist might be a good career option ;)

TBH I dont really enjoy gratuitous sex, torture and murder films so I think Ill give this a miss, seen far too much real blood in the past too.

I dont mind porn, I just dont find it that exciting anymore, I also like to keep sex seperated from violence on ethical grounds.

Im going tonight with friends as its my bday but Id rather go see Inside Man. Especially as Ive already "acquired" Hostel...*sigh*. Ive been out-voted even on my bday.

i wasnt bored all the way through the first half, its just that after a bit the porn did start to get boring, seeing as it was just the same thing over and over again.
