Philips BDM3275UP 32-Inch LCD Monitor
http://www.digitalversus.com/lcd-monitor/philips-bdm3275up-p27673/test.htmlWorks fine, no dead pixels, no issues with banding or flicker. Supposed low contrast isn't a problem, I found it brighter than the old 24" Dell which I am typing on now.
It's huge, Looks great for picture manipulation, although not done much of that beyond looking at a few pics on screen.
Games should be ok providing you aren't a FPS hardnut. Loaded up Guild Wars 2 for a walk around. Ran fine averaging 40-50 FPS at 4K on a single Nvidea GTX 970 although it certainly isn't anywhere near the most graphically demanding game today.
Downside:
It's huge? Almost too big. Then I didn't go for 40" option...
Sites like BBC and yahoo only use a thin band down center of screen, but that is a problem of the site, not the monitor.
Text looks tiny as do on screen buttons.
Screen controlled by touch buttons on bottom of bezel, could be better.
Cost, but it is a professional display.
