pc 3 pin cable order
on: June 06, 2007, 15:13:21 PM
3 pin fan/pwer connectors on your pc, anyone know the order the wires go into the connector?
Wires are green/yellow, brown and blue

With the pin connector itself it has a one hole has a long "1" written on it for one hole, so from that what order is it?

Asap reply would be cool please

I pulled the pin off two cables (swapping a broken pump with another) and forgot to note the cable order like a prune

whilst Eggs response is perhaps a tiny bit harsher than absolutely necessary, he makes a good point.

slow down, start again, what is this wire/connector supposed to be connected to?

brown green/yellow and blue sounds like UK mains AC colours, Brown=Live, Blue=Neutral, Green/Yellow=Earth.

[edit]ahh I see youve sorted it, glad to hear it.
