I dont know why... but I upgraded to IE8 because 7 crashed now and again

and it became mega slow to load up at first, or to open new tabs

once it was loaded / the tabs were open its back to being fast... but some took 10 sec to load (thats a lifetime for me)

have been googling for 3 days on and off and tried a few tricks etc.. but nothing worket... still mega slow

just looking through the menus earlier... and went into manage add-ons... and disabled them all - and now Im back to mega fast......

just thought Id mention it incase anyone else is having the same problems...




p.s. before I get flamed for using IE.... I don;t care about the security stuff, I dont run any AV or local firewall.... and IE loads up / opens tabs faster than I can click them.... which is pretty fast.... :-)

IE7 tab opening is plenty fast.

Glad to hear IE8 is okay, might give it a go soon.
