Bought it a while ago, never really played it, what can i do for it?

Im guessing there are some community mods for it. or how does it all work.

Garys Mod is basically a sandbox where you can spawn items, animate them, and build things with it. Its not so much fun solo but if you join a decent multiplayer server that isnt full of people shooting each other you can actually build some fantastic things with a bit of creativity. It sounds like a very simple concept but its surprisingly addictive if you give it a few hours to get to grips with the actual build system.
