Bioshock Demo - Xbox Live Arcade
on: August 13, 2007, 22:46:58 PM
Anyone else managed to download and play the Bioshock demo on the Live Marketplace. I started it running at 7.30 this morning and around 14 hours later, the download finished. The servers must really be getting hammered, but I have to say that it was well worth it.

The game is awesome, and I can see why it got 95% in PC Gamer and a perfect score in Official Xbox Magazine.

Definately the game Im most looking forward to now.

Downloading as we speak. Major Nelson has an interview with Ken Levine talking about Bioshock on this weeks podcast, so worth a listen to get it straight from the horses mouth.
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo… Again.

Loved the demo, the PC version of it is coming out later this month.
Graphics are awesome, better than Gears of War I think, I thought the opening cinematic was pre-rendered it looks that good. :o

Yeah, when you start off in the water, me and my bro were just sat there looking at it for a bit, I didnt realise that I had control, it looked that good. Then it just got better and better as it went along.

Its absolutely stunning... was playing it last night on a 120" 1080i projector I wouldnt shut up about it... the bit where the tail of the plane sinks and crashes into that underwater tunnel... its just mind blowing.

I got the pc demo but it keeps crashing, its always at the same point, where you have to pick the wrench up.
Its not the game as Ive downloaded it twice, its not my graphics card as Ive tried an ati and nvidia.
Any ideas?
