Anyone here use flash and know how to make things?

I need someone who can take my flash web player design (external flv files) and the bits I have chopped up for it and create a player? I have read that you can use an xml file to control some of the config options as well to save opening it in flash to edit new video file names etc But basically I been trying but not getting very far with it at all :/
Tried following a couple of guilds but they not been very good or clear, one being from the adobe site :/
(yes I know there are players out there you can use but I want one to look specific to fit with my site)
