World of Warcraft spam
on: December 29, 2011, 13:55:51 PM
I keep getting mails that seem to be from WoW claiming I've been trying to sell my account in game. The problem is I don't and never have had an account with them. I certainly don't play WoW and never have.

So obviously someone has spoofed my mail in some way, except I have never had a mail from them before. I therefore don't have any way to contact them and I don't want to set up an account just to put in a ticket saying I don't have one! :-\

People have similar emails or forget their actual email and use what ends up being your email a lot of the time.
I got this stupid women from the UK that continues to use my gmail as her email for things so for the last year I been getting all her clothing order emails, bookings for motels and what not.

I occasionally get those to and just bin them. Difference here is that they seem to be really from wow and link to their official battle.net site.

Do a password recovery and cancel her orders :D
