Get in contact with the cops and tell them the car has recently changed ownership.Then ring up the DVLA and ask why you havent been notified of the change of ownership yet, as you sent the slip off the day you sold the car.
Id recommend following the above advice.I had a rather more serious such encounter - I sold a car which I didnt change keepers details (And neither did the new keeper)First I heard about it was a loud bang from 4 miles away as it blew up in front of a local police station with a rather large car bomb in it.Thankfully they realised that it probably wasnt me.
