embarrassingly, I have been considering lambo doors on the MR2 - purely for ease of access though

The new reacro seats are bastard hard to get in and out of even with the door opened the whole way - its almost easier to take the roof off and get in past the newly installed fully welded cage.

Guy I was at school with has scissor doors on his MR2. And about 20 grand under the bonnet.

Why? its not like you can use all its potential legally on UK roads anyway. Better to see if you can lower its six litre a mile thirst... :P

Its for sunday driving and dragging. And the odd track day. Its very much a toy rather than a method of transport.

It will go well with this new sleeved block and reworked heat - sure it made close to 600hp on a cracked block!

On cruise it does about 25mpg, on boost more like 1-2

Plus, its also nice to have something to do at the weekends. Some guys go out drinking - I work on the car.

Speaking of which, I need to get a monster update thread going

He gets some stick for the 3-spokes. I think even Max Power called him on it when they featured his car.
