saw a c2 in a right mess on a b-road into chester yesterday, looked like it had been through a hedge sideways, stood up to it pretty well from what i could see.

When I passed my test I was driving a C reg VW Polo 1.3 CL. Looked clapped out but the engine was in good shape and it went like excrement off a polished digging impliment. Embarressed one or two wannabe boy racers in their 1.1 Novas with that one.

Eventually its oil pump died and I got a Pugeot 306 XLD 1.9 NA Diesel. Slow, yes, but it moves well enough if you know where to put your gearchanges. 162000 miles and still going.
