Seriously? Price of fuel is rising and you buy this? :P

Going to get an LPG conversion done? :D

Powers of observation fail (2nd filler and extra hoses) it already has one. :D

Didn't notice the 2nd filler down there, well the positioning is perfect, black on black.

How much did you pay for it?

I was about to say you could have got an S4 and it would have been as sensible a choice, but smart move on getting one LPG kitted  That's a lovely car.

even better.... depending on what kind of injectors you have fitted... you can easily and cheaply have it converted to compressed natural gas... and then fill it up at home with a special compressor from the gas main = mega cheap :-)

I've looked into it for vans, but all the ones I've seen have small engines in them and I worried they wouldn't be up to the task of pulling at fully loaded van around all day, eg. sprinters are fitted with a 1.8 supercharged petrol engine which is dual fuel petrol and gas...

Yeee hawww shes rapid.

got 15.4mpg on the 150 mile drive back, im told it can manage 23 if you are really careful

with the cost of LPG taken into account the equivalent petrol mpg i managed was 28, so not too horrific really and it'll do better

I was about to lol at you.... but 28 (equivalent) isn't bad...

fuel costs piss me off.... which is why I bought a diesel bmw... but it still drank it if you floored it.... 50mpg was easy at 70mph.... flat out = very fast but 18mpg  :-\

28mpg for a 4.2 v8 while the driver isnt trying to save any fuel whatsoever is pretty good IMO hehe

Bugger! Changed the oil today and found the center diff is leaking reasonably badly, seems to be a common issue, seal on the propshaft flange fails.

Edit:

The car looks fine when you look under it, no wet spots at all so nothing obvious, the diff is high up above the cats so you really need to be right under the middle of the car to see it.
