Need some more serious advice..

Ok bought the 02 M3 with 120k miles on 13/12/11, with brand new MOT. £8500

Was also told it would get a service and thorough PDI before I got it (fluids weren't topped up when I got it and I was told it didn't actually need a service so it wasn't done).

It went back for crack in floor which they had advised me it had been checked for (so clearly hadn't) and which should have been an MOT fail, I was told it would go to a local specialist, it went to cowboy MOT station for the work. I did get them to take it to the local specialist after that but they basically told me there was so much under seal on the car they couldn't tell.

I took the car back.. roll forward to last week, power steering fails, called supplying trader who wouldn't cover cost as its not covered by engine/gearbox warranty. I replaced the hose at my cost.

Today.. car on 123k miles, engine light comes on, a random garage plug it in and advise it will need a new cat.

I called the supplying trader again now rather angry and stated I didn't believe the car was of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose. He didn't want to know regarding the repair or helping in any way.. just stated that its a high performance car, won't be cheap to maintain, wear and tear etc etc..

I told him I would seek legal advice and go from there..

Do I have a leg to stand on? who can I speak to? I'm just fed up with the damn car now and feel like I have been ripped off :(
