Got them fitted finally. They seem pretty good on the corners, enough to allow me to scare Kinky poopless...

My tracking was out 4mm, is that a lot? It seemed just enough for me to notice it.

I dont consider tracking or "alignment" as its more commonly referred to stateside, to be much of a problem for the average family car if you cant feel it, it doesnt show a wierd wear pattern, or even cause noise and vibration. Sounds like you were a wee bit off, but none too bad.

nige id get the tracking sorted if i were you, itll only be £20 or £30 and I always think I can really feel the difference with the road holding after its done :)

plus... youll save a it of cash in the longer run because your new front tyres will last longer :)

I already had it done Alan, sorry to confuse you

I made sure they did it anyway and they told me after it was 4mm out of tracking previously, was an extra £25 quid, but well, doesnt matter now. I spent enough on the tyres to want it all spot on.  :-)

I should be going down to Birmingham this weekend to see my old mates, so that will be a good run for them to see how different it feels. Especially at speed.
