is it a common thing, the rattling cam chain on the cbr? Its what I fancy for next summer.

As have I. In a straight line maybe. No WAY you could keep up with a 125 on one of those 2 wheeled twin-shock tractors on any sort of a B road. Theyre just not my thing. I like suspension thats trick & modern - strong brakes, and some protection.

My dad had one for a while before he wised up and bought the zx-12 (off me!). Torquey yes. Suspension and brakes are a joke, and it falls apart in front of your eyes (Like most suzukis). Good helmet storage - but thats about it.

Here is the old POS. 2 years old at this point, and ready for scrap. Granted, it wasnt washed enough - but you expect things to last better than it did nowadays. (Ancient picture from old nokia!)

See if he can get me a good deal on a VFR800   also ask if they have any common probs. My dream bike!
