No great loss, the sooner hes gone the better imo.
I think he quite a loss tbh. He is one of these characters that actually help make F1 interesting & entertaining. He is is one of the better drivers and one of the best on his day, along with that ego and attitude of his makes him a very interesting character on and off the track.
Compared to some one like Ralf Schumacher.....
Maclaren have shown Montoya the door today so he can spend his time preparing for Nascar professionally...
However he is not allowed to take part in any testing or races untill 2007 iirc when his McLaren driver contract will end.
They may very well still use him in some races later on, it is an option McLaren have.
